Hi @Yohany3000
The event code 59.73.00 typically indicates a problem related to the printer's internal components, such as the ITB (Intermediate Transfer Belt) motor or a firmware issue. Here are the steps you can follow to troubleshoot and potentially resolve the issue:
-
Restart the Printer:
- Turn off the printer and disconnect it from the power source.
- Wait about 60 seconds before plugging it back in and turning it on again. This can resolve minor glitches.
-
Check for Obstructions:
- Open the printer covers and remove the toner cartridges carefully.
- Inspect for and remove any visible paper jams, fragments, or obstructions, especially around the transfer belt and rollers.
-
Inspect the ITB:
- Make sure the Intermediate Transfer Belt is properly seated. Sometimes, reseating the ITB can resolve alignment or connection issues.
- Check for any physical damage to the ITB or related components.
-
Ensure Proper Installation of Toner Cartridges:
- Verify that the toner cartridges are installed correctly. Misplaced cartridges can sometimes cause operational errors.
-
Update Printer Firmware:
- Go to the HP support website and check for any available firmware updates for the HP MFP M479fdw.
- Updating the firmware can solve issues related to internal codes and improve overall functionality.
-
Reset the Printer:
- A factory reset may help if the error is related to corrupt settings. Be mindful that this will erase all custom configurations.
- Consult your printer's manual for instructions on how to perform a factory reset.
I hope this helps!
Regards
