my 9015 printer does not completely print documents sent from an Apple iPad. It may print half a page only. it may not print a page at all. sometimes the printer will not print an entire document. There are no error messages on the iPad. I have to send the documents or links to my sister to print from her laptop. The documents print with no difficulty. We have checked every setting on both devices and the wireless. The iPad is less than a year old, but the problem occurred on the previous iPad. We are stumped. Any suggestions are welcome.

Hi @emty,
Welcome to The HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand the issue you're experiencing with your HP OfficeJet Pro 9015e printer not fully printing documents from your iPad could be due to several factors, including network issues, firmware/software incompatibilities, or specific settings on the iPad. Here are some steps you can try to resolve the problem:
Troubleshooting Steps
Check for Firmware and Software Updates: Update the firmware on an HP printer
- Printer Firmware: Ensure that your printer firmware is up to date. You can check for updates through the HP Smart app or the printer's web interface.
- iPad iOS: Make sure your iPad is running the latest version of iOS. Go to Settings > General > Software Update to check for updates.
- HP Smart App: Ensure the HP Smart app on your iPad is up to date. Go to the App Store and check for updates.
Network Connection:
- Ensure both the iPad and the printer are connected to the same WiFi network.
- Restart your router to clear any potential network issues.
- Consider moving the printer closer to the router to improve signal strength.
Reset Network Settings:
- On your iPad, go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings. This will reset all network settings, including WiFi passwords.
AirPrint Configuration:
- Ensure that AirPrint is properly configured. Go to Settings > Printer on your iPad and make sure the printer is listed.
Print from Other Apps:
- Try printing from different apps on your iPad to see if the issue is specific to a particular app.
Check for Specific App Issues:
- If the issue occurs with documents from a specific app, try printing from another app to see if the problem persists.
Clear Print Queue:
- Ensure there are no stuck print jobs in the printer's queue. Sometimes, clearing the print queue can resolve issues with incomplete prints.
Reset Printer:
- Perform a hard reset of the printer. Turn it off, unplug it from the power source, wait for about 60 seconds, plug it back in, and turn it on.
Check Document Compatibility:
- Ensure the document format is compatible with the printer. Sometimes, complex documents or specific file formats can cause issues.
