My HP Officejet Pro 9025 is stuck on a blue screen with error code of 01B3B8E6. I've tried turning it off and on,  and unplugging it, but I continue to receive the same error. Printer is stuck and locked up on this blue screen. This started when I changed the yellow print cartridge. I can't access the printer control screen,  I'm don't know what options are available.

Virtual Assistant told me this;

Reset the printer to recover from printer errors or failures.

  1. If your printer has a rechargeable battery, remove it.
  2. With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the printer.
  3. Unplug the power cord from the power source.
  4. Wait 60 seconds.
  5. Reconnect the power cord to a wall outlet and to the printer.
  6. Turn on the printer to complete the reset.

It worked, I left the covers open, ignored a few messages about the ink cartridge, then when the print head stopped in the open area I changed out the non-hp yellow print cartridge that started this mess, closed it all up all the covers, finished the reboot and I'm back to where I started before the printer locked up with the blue screen error message.
