Hi everyone! My HP Officejet 3830 printer stopped printing in color and I could use your help.

 

When I print the "Print Quality Diagnostic" page from the printer, all of the black text prints. However, none of the lines, arrows, or color blocks -- including black -- are present. I think this means there is an issue with the printer itself, not my laptop.

 

The cartridges are third-party refilled cartridges. The color cartridge supply is normal and the black is low but still prints well. I have had these cartridges for a while and I previously have not had issues with printing in color.

 

I'd appreciate your help!

Hi,

Yes, this means the problem relies with the print cartridge, if no color is shown on a Print Quality Diagnostics page, replace the Tri-Color cartridge with a new cartridge:
