The printer will not print or copy. I changed the black cartridge to a new one and it still will not print.  I installed all updates and reset the printer but nothing seems to get it to print.  It was printing normally a few weeks ago and then a few days later it will not print.

Hi,

 

Thank you for contacting HP.

I would recommend you to try the steps in the link below:-

Also try the additional step at the end if the issue remains.

1) On the Printer Home Screen, go to the Set Up Tab.

2) Scroll to Printer Maintenance

3) Then look for Clean the Printhead

       Proceed with Cleaning the Printhead,

       When the 1st level of cleaning is done, check the page printed , if it is faded / blank then perform a 2nd level of cleaning. If the test page on 2nd level is faded then perform a 3rd level of cleaning.

Then print from the PC and also copy and check the results.

I have tried multiple times to clean the printheads via that method and each time it prints a completely blank page.

At this stage you need to contact a Live Agent for Hardware Intervention, I would recommend you contact a Live Agent.

It does not give me an option to do so because the warranty expired. This is incredibly inconvenient. I don't think I'll be purchasing an HP Printer again any time soon
