The power light blinks and printer is unresponsive. Turn off and back on and it works but reoccurs after awhile. I saw earlier posts suggesting hard reset; may I have the instructions for semi hard reset ? Using MacOS 11.1. Thank you.
Hello, thanks for getting back to me. This did not work, at least not with the HP Smart app. When I open the printer in HP Smart app, it reads the printer status as "Unavailable" under the Status area, but under the Printer Information area it says status is "Ready." When I click on Advanced Settings I get an error message that simply says "Can't open printer home or EWS page. This feature is not available." It does not seem like the HP Smart app is really communicating with my printer.
In the end, I updated the firmware from the HP webpage and will see if that helps with the problem I have been experiencing.
