Microsoft Windows 11

I HAVE BOUTH ANOTHER PRINTER AND IT'S CONFIGURED AND PRINTING CORRECTLY.

MY OLD PRINTER HP OfficeJet Pro 8035e All‑in‑One Printer IS STILL ON MY ACCOUNT AND I CANNOT DELETE IT. IT'S LIKE A ON-GOING LOOP THROUGH THE PROMPTS. I HAVE CANCELLED MY SUBSCRIPTIONS ON IT AND NOW IT'S STUCK IN MY ACCOUNT. I KEEP GETTING EMAILS THAT I WILL NOT BE ABLE TO PRINT ON THAT PRINTER AFTER A CERTAIN DATE BUT I'VE ALREADY TAKEN THAT PRINTER OFFLINE AND SOLD IT FOR PARTS.

WHAT ELSE CAN I DO TO DELETE IT OFF MY ACCOUNT? I CANNOT SPEAK WITH A LIVE PERSON FROM HP. IT LOOKS LIKE ROBOTS ARE ALL THAT PRESENT TO CHAT WITH.

What happened?

If the subscription was cancelled while you still had the printer and the subscription was not completely terminated by the time you turned off the printer for the last time and salvaged the parts from it, it is possible that the message you are receiving is a result of the subscription being stuck -- cancelled but not fully terminated.

I believe you should be able to speak with Instant Ink Support -- they live to provide you (and your new printer) with an Instant Ink subscription.  That said, Instant Ink is (should be) willing to answer any related questions about a subscription.

You are welcome.

Side Bar -- FYI only

Note that once the Instant Ink bits are settled, the printer might persist in your HP Account Dashboard.

For reasons that I've never understood, printers that were ever connected to Instant Ink might remain "stuck" in the Dashboard "My devices" list.

The "stickiness" is of no consequence beyond a possible annoyance for those who like a "clean" Dashboard.
