Printer is showing a Carriage jam error and the ink carriage is stuck on the right side and does not move.  There is no paper jam and no visible obstructions that can cause the carriage to get stuck.

@GVE164, Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

When facing a "Carriage Jam" error with your HP OfficeJet Pro 9135e All-in-One Printer, even if there are no visible obstructions or paper jams, follow these troubleshooting steps to resolve the issue:

Power Off and Unplug the Printer:

  • Turn off the printer.
  • Disconnect the power cord from the printer and unplug it from the power source.

Open Access Doors:

  • Open the front door, followed by the cartridge access door.

Gently Move the Carriage:

  • Carefully move the carriage from side to side to ensure it is not locked or obstructed.

Check for Hidden Obstructions:

  • Look for any subtle or small obstructions like dislodged labels or crumpled paper.
  • Remove any visible obstructions found in the carriage path.

Perform a Power Reset:

  • Reconnect the power cord to the printer and plug it directly into a wall outlet.
  • Turn on the printer using the power button.
