Officejet 3830
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I had issues with color printing with my HP Officejet 3830 3 weeks ago, was able to get tech support and he walked me thru reinstalling the printer driver and the printer in control panel. It had been working fine, then today it won't print color again. I was able to remove the driver and printer , restart the computer and reinstall once more. It worked fine on one color picture I used to try it. That was it, now back to black and white.....I did check and color was selected in the computer. If I run a test page, the color parts are printed in color, and I do have plenty of ink. I am really frustrated, can anyone help, please?

Hi,

Try following below version of the HP Print and Scan Doctor Utility by selecting your printer:

http://ftp.hp.com/pub/printers/hppsdr/patches/HPPSdr.exe

Be sure to restart your PC and allow the utility to complete the process, then check for any difference.

Please let me know the results,

Shlomi
