HP Officejet 4620 e-All-in-One stuck on 'Printing alignment page...'

HP Officejet 4620 e-All-in-One

Hi,

My printer is stuck on the Printing alignment page...

the printer was working fine copying and printing but after a software update, it stopped copying (but still printing).

I've tried to reset it to factory settings and after reboot, it starts displaying a message: "Load paper into the input tray and then press ok"

When I do that it displays the "printing alignment page ... progress bar" and stuck there forever. and nothing happens when I push any button.

I did some search on the internet and found that the problem might be related to the cartridges. And so I ordered new cartridges. but this did not solve the problem and my printer is still stuck on the same screen.

Please someone can help with this issue?

Welcome to the HP support community.

Perform a power reset

  1. Turn on the printer, if it is not already on.
  2. Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you continue.
  3. With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
  4. Wait at least 30 seconds.
  5. Plug back the power cable straight to a wall outlet and printer without any surge protector.
  6. Turn on the printer.

Update the printer firmware

Here are the steps:- Click here

I hope that helps.
