Note for common printer problems
Customers receiving the"will damage your computer" message along with others like "unable to access cups/tmp" or "'@%' cannot be opened" need to update their version of the macOS. Solved!

HP Officejet 4622 stopped printing black ink. Color ink just fine

HP Recommended
Officejet 4622

No error messages.  Cartriges properly vented.  Followed instructions to clean print head x 2.  Also aligned.  No black ink.

Thank you.  I have completed all these steps and the color ink prints but the black in does not.  Any other suggestions?

In this case, you need to send your printer to the engineer verify the printhead failure.
