HP Officejet 6500A Plus e-All-in-One Printer - E710n

My router was upgraded to a XB7 which supports WIFI 6. I can no longer print wireless from my iphone (or laptop) to my HP Officejet 6500A Plus.  I since tried it on an XB6 router and it prints fine.

Has anybody seen this issue with the XB7 modem/router and is there a wireless workaround without down grading my modem to a XB6 ?

You did go through the steps to enter the connection information for the new router? What wireless specs does the modem support? Does it have backwards compatibility with older 2.4 Ghz connections? If yes, configuring the modem to assign a different SSID for the 2.4 channel and only allow the printer to connect to that SSID.
