Product: HP Officejet Premium Printer Failure Error
Operating System: macOS 10.15 Catalina
After installing a new cyan HP cartridge for a depleted one, a "printer Failure" error message comes up. I unplugged and replugged power. Same Error. I bought another new cyan cartridge, thinking maybe I got a faulty one. Same error. I took out all the print cartridges and re-installed. Same error.
I know it's an older model, but any suggestions before I buy something new? Of course, distance learning starts for my kids in two days!!
I see that the printer is in an error state and I appreciate your efforts in trying to resolve the issue. This one seems like an issue with the ink system. If you have already performed the steps from the document 'Printer Failure' Error and the issue persists, it could be a hardware failure.
