Hey, since yesterday I am unable to connect my printer to my home network.Normally I am connected with an UTP cable to my router, when looking on the settings on the printer, the printer has selected automatic IP, I can't change it to DHCP, when I put in an manual address I am unable to ping that address and also can't see it on the log page of my router, when trying to connect to wifi it is the same selected type automatic ip and I can't change it to dhcp or manual, with both I get the message internal error try again later, I also tried to connect my PC with an usb cable to the printer, I can connect on that way but when I want to try to do an firmware update with the downloaded version on the hp home page I am unable to do the update of the firmware, I tried it 2 times without an IP and with an IP, with the first one the printer does a restart but gets stuck with the restart and searching a way to the internet so he can do the update, with the second one I get the message unable to connect, I also tried to do the reset of the factory settings and it's the same thing, nothing is working anymore on this printer. Can you provide me with a solution please?

@Kak170579, Welcome to HP Support Community,
Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue
Restart the Printer
- Turn off the printer.
- Unplug the power cord from the back of the printer.
- Press and hold the power button for 30 seconds.
- Plug the power cord back in.
- Turn on the printer.
Check the Printer's Network Settings:
- If your printer is set to "Automatic IP," it should attempt to get an IP address from your router via DHCP. Since you're unable to change this setting or get a valid IP, it suggests there may be an issue with the printer’s network configuration.
- If you haven't already, perform a network reset on the printer to clear any previous network settings that could be causing the issue. Check this guide:
- Ensure there’s no IP address conflict in your router.
- Unplug your router, wait 10-15 seconds, and then plug it back in. Try reconnecting the printer afterward.
Run HP Print and Scan Doctor (Windows only):
- Download and run the HP Print and Scan Doctor tool. Follow the prompts to diagnose and fix common printing issues.
Update Printer Firmware (Update the firmware on an HP printer | HP® Support)
- Go to the HP Customer Support - Software and Driver Downloads page. Enter your printer model number and search for the latest firmware update. Follow the instructions to download and install the firmware update.
I hope these steps help resolve the issue
