HP Officejet Pro 860 series printer's print carriage will not move from the right side; no paper jam

HP Officejet Pro 8600 printer

HP Officejet Pro 8600 all in one printer:  the print carriage is stuck on the right side.  It occurred suddenly after working fine.  Checked and double-checked for jams and there are none.  The carriage will not budge, including when I try to move it manually.  Error message says, "The print carriage cannot move...."  Please provide advice on how to get the carriage unstuck, if possible.

@LZEL1, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

I understand the print carriage is stuck. Kindly perform the steps mentioned in this document - Paper Jam Error.

If the issue persists, please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer.

If the printer is out of warranty, I suggest you upgrade the printer. You may visit Hp Store to check the available printers.

Keep me posted for any other assistance.
