Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My HP Officejet Pro 8600 Plus, which I always turn off at the end of the day, turns on by itself some time during the night. This has started after I cleaned its printhead for blocked black ink delivery.

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

What do you refer to when you say blocked black ink delivery?

Try a firmware update: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c02919168

Also, go to settings>preferences>sleep and select a duration for the Printer to go to sleep.

Let me know if this helps.

If the information I've provided was helpful, give us some reinforcement by clicking the "Accept as solution" button, that'll help us and others see that we've got the answers!

Thanks!
