Printer Failure - Troubleshooting Steps

If you are experiencing a "Printer Failure" error message with the prompt to turn the printer off and on, but the error persists, there are a few troubleshooting steps you can try:

  1. Reset the printer:

    • With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the printer.
    • Unplug the power cord from the power source.
    • Wait for 60 seconds.
    • Reconnect the power cord to a wall outlet and to the printer.
  2. Update the printer firmware:

    • Check if there are any available firmware updates for your printer model.
    • If updates are available, follow the instructions provided by HP to update the firmware.

If the error message still persists after trying these steps, it is recommended to contact HP technical support for further assistance. They will be able to provide additional troubleshooting steps or arrange for a repair if necessary.

So I did this and now am asking the community of help. Because I don't have warranty any longer.
