Hi everyone,

I have tried all the tricks of the trade.  But I am trying to print from my Apple phone and keep receiving a Paper Jam error.  I can print from the computer (PC or Mac) with no problem but when I print from my phone it will act like it is trying to get paper and then say the error.  I have used both airprint and the HP smart App to print, both get the same result.

Background..this printer was replaced by HP already due to a firmware issue where it wouldn't grab paper when printing on any platform.

Welcome to the HP support community.

Clean the paper feed rollers

  1. Turn off the printer, and then disconnect the power cord.

       WARNING:

You must disconnect the power cord before reaching inside the printer to avoid risk of injuries or electric shock.

  2. Open the front door, and then lift the ink cartridge access door.

  3. Lightly dampen a lint-free cloth with the water, and then squeeze any excess liquid from the swab.

  4. Gently clean the rollers with the damp cloth.

  5. Allow the rollers to dry completely (approximately 10 minutes).

  6. Close the ink cartridge access door, and then close the front door.
