Subject: Request for Assistance with Setup Cartridges for HP Photosmart 5510

 

I hope this message finds you well. I am contacting you regarding an issue I am facing with my HP Photosmart 5510 printer, which I am trying to set up for the first time. Unfortunately, I encountered a significant obstacle due to missing the original setup cartridges that were supposed to come with the printer.

 

I have attempted to initialize my printer using brand new, genuine HP cartridges (564XL Black, 564XL Cyan, 564XL Magenta, 564XL Yellow) that I purchased specifically for this printer. Despite using these original HP cartridges, I received an error message requesting the use of the setup cartridges originally included with the printer for its initialization. Unfortunately, I have misplaced these setup cartridges and am currently unable to proceed.

 

I am seeking your assistance to resolve this issue. Could you please provide me with information on how I might obtain a replacement set of setup cartridges, or if there is an alternative approach that would allow me to bypass this requirement and successfully initialize my printer using the new HP cartridges I have purchased?

There is a bypass code as discussed here

The setup for 5520 is in the comments and is

5520 by pressing: Back, Home, Back, X, Back to access the support menu

 

You might try that on your 5510.  let me know if it works.
