HP PhotoSmart 6520

My printer has recently begun printing only blank pages. So when trying to print out a return label from amazon, it comes out blank.

@grothman, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

  • Have you tried printing different types of documents like PDF, Word, or Webpages and check if the issue persists?
  • Try making a standalone copy in color and black to check if that works. By this, we can conclude if this is a hardware or a driver issue.

Check the ink levels and replace any low/empty ink cartridge.

On the printer, touch Settings, touch Tools, and then touch Estimated Ink Levels.

Clean the printhead.

Touch Settings, touch Tools, and then touch Clean Printhead. If print quality is unacceptable on the page that prints, touch Clean Again to perform a second cleaning.

Run a Print Quality Diagnostic report

  1. On the printer, touch Settings, touch Tools, and then touch Print Quality Report.

  2. Check the report for any defects.

If the issue persists, perform step 3 from this document.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
