HP Photosmart 7520 all-in-one series
macOS 11.0 Big Sur

I have suddenly encountered the printer error "Print heads missing" on my HP Photosmart 7520 printer on both my MAC OS and Windows 10 operating systems.   I have followed all of the recommended steps, 1.  downloaded and installed HP Smart for MAC, downloaded and installed new drivers (for MAC), reset printer (several times), and tried to fix myself.  2.  I had thought this was a MAC OS issue as it seemed to happen after an OS update but I have tried with my DELL running Windows 10 (up to date) and get the same error.

This printer is a 2013 printer and is out of warranty.  I am tired of trying so many things to fix and want to know if it is just time for me to get a new printer as this one has been great for 8 years.

Please advise as to whether I need to spend any more time on this (I have no issue with buying a new printer).

Thanks.
