HP Photosmart 7525 has stopped pick up paper

Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My printer has stopped picking up paper for printing, any paper sizes or type, it displays a ''Paper out'' error message on the screen. I have tried everything;

  • Checked the paper quality
  • reset printer
  • realigned paper in trays
  • Cleaned the rollers by accessing the back
  • Ran a HP Doctor test

Is there anything else I can try? getting it serviced is as costly as buying a new printer.....this time it might be a HP model.... this one isn't that old and was functioning just fine.

I have gone through your Post and I appreciate all your efforts and expertise in troubleshooting this issue

 

I would request you to update the Firmware from this Link: https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-photosmart-7520-e-all-in-one-printer-series/5199...

 

Do you experience the same issue when making Photocopies?

 

If the issue persists after the Firmware update, please follow the instructions in the private message I sent

 

Please check your private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Forums profile.

I have tried the proposed solution, nothing works, it is not pciking up paper when I try to make a copy.

I have filed another report and awaits help from someone.

This is a Hardware issue and the printer needs to be serviced
