HP Printer 4515 White Screen Display

HP Recommended
HP 4514 Printer
macOS 10.14 Mojave

Does anyone here can help me?

This morning My HP Printer 4515 is showing white screen display although I can press the button and still clicking sound

Yesterday I still use it, for scanning document and it still works fine.

Does anybody know how to solve it?

Thank You

I try advice from @kumar0307 below, but it wont work

Hi @Haraigcar

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you.

I understand the printer display is washed off.

  • Is there any damage to the screen?
  • Make sure the protective tape is any on the screen is removed.
  • Try connecting to a different wall outlet.

Reset the printer

  1. With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
  2. Wait at least 60 seconds.
  3. Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.
  4. Turn ON the printer, if it does not automatically turn on.
  5. Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you proceed.

Note: HP recommends connecting the printer directly to a wall outlet rather than a surge protector or a power strip.

While the printer is unplugged, hold the power button down for 10 seconds and release it.

Update the printer firmware

@hanjoe83, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

If you have already tried those steps and the issue persists, I'm afraid this is a display failure issue. Please reach out to the HP Technical Support team in your region regarding the service options for your printer.

You may create a case on the website to obtain a case number if required. Kindly watch this video to know how.

Keep me posted for any other assistance.
