HP Printer connected to computer as one .

HP Deskjet 2540 all in one series
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi, Upgrade from Windows 7 to Windows 10 pro with Microsoft . Everything is activated.  Printer HPDeskjet 2540 all in one series  is silent, but the blinking lights are on all the time will not switch off. Computer does not recognise it. Tried removing usb from the back. Downloaded drivers but no use. The letter E is flashing also. Cheers. Joe
