Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

After the latest Windows 10 update, my HP printer(HP Officejet Pro 8600 Plus) will not print anything from any actual web browser/site.  My printer will print from saved PDF documents but not anything saved as a web page/html.

I reviewed your post and I understand that you are unable to print from websites.

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

Have you tried using a different browser?

Meanwhile, I recommend you root uninstall the printer and then reinstall it and check whether the issue is resolved.

Here is how it is done.

1.) In Windows, search for and open Programs and features

2.) Select your HP Printer

3.) Select Uninstall

4.) In Windows, search for and open Devices and printers

5.) In the Devices and Printers windows look for your HP printer. If you see it listed right-click on it and choose 'Delete' or 'Remove Device'

6.) Open up the run command with the "Windows key + R" key combo.

7.) Type printui.exe /s and click Ok. (Note: there is a space in between “printui.exe” and “/s”)

8.) Click on the "Drivers" tab

9.) Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it Click on it and click Remove at the bottom

10.) Select Ok

11.) Select Apply and Ok on the Print Server Properties windows

12.) Close Devices and Printers

13.) Restart the PC

14.) Download and install the printer software from the below link.

Thank you for the information.

I went thru about 5 days of searching for solutions for this problem.  I went thru several solutions before going to the HP Support Community.  I finally got the printer working a day after I posted this problem in the HP Support Community.  The only thing I did not do on your solution is go to the printui.exe /s and remove/delete the HP Printer driver.

I bought this printer in Sep 2012(about 9 years old) and it does an excellent job for what I use it for(home use) until a Microsoft update bricked it.  It might long in the tooth but it still is running.

I did remove/delete every HP driver/program I could find thru the use of REVO Uninstaller(been using this for years, it finds hard to find installations and other items installed on my computer).  I also uninstalled then reinstalled the 3 browsers I use(Chromium Edge, Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox).

A sore item for me is that HP.com does not provide technical support for problems after the warranty runs out but relies on the HP Support Community to help customers with help for their HP products.  If you take the date and time that I posted this item on the HP Support Community web site, it took almost 4 days for an answer versus 1-2 hours on the phone with HP technical support to resolve the problem.  This problem could have been solved on 15 Mar instead of 19 Mar(5 days without a printer).

Again, I appreciate your solution to my problem.  Thank you.
