Hi @GLS42,.

Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're thrilled to have you on board!

To help us get started on resolving your issue, could you please share the model name of your device?

Now, let's dive into the issue! Could you please elaborate on what's happening with your printer? The more details you provide, the better we'll understand the problem and the faster we can resolve it!

Meanwhile, you can try these generic steps:

Check Printer Status and Connection

Make sure the printer is powered on and connected to your computer or network.

For Wi-Fi: confirm the printer and device are on the same network.

For USB: try a different cable or port.

Clear the Print Queue

On your computer, open Devices & Printers → right-click printer → See what’s printing → Cancel all documents.

This clears stuck jobs that may prevent printing.

Restart Devices

Turn off the printer and your computer, wait 30 seconds, then turn both back on.

This often resolves temporary communication issues.

Check Paper and Ink/Toner

Ensure there is paper in the tray and ink/toner levels are sufficient.

Remove and reinstall cartridges to confirm they’re seated correctly.

Update or Reinstall Printer Driver

Outdated or corrupted drivers can prevent printing.

Download the latest driver from HP.com for your printer model and reinstall it.

We're all ears!

Best regards,

Kuroi_Kenshi
