Smart tank Plus 559 model will not print very first letter on any document after re aligning and cleaning etc it still does it

cannot figure out what is the cause of this print problem.

If your HP Smart Tank Plus 559 Wireless All-in-One printer is consistently failing to print the very first letter on any document despite re-aligning and cleaning, you may need to try the following troubleshooting steps:

 

Check Ink Levels and Refill if Necessary: Ensure that all the ink tanks have sufficient ink as low ink levels can affect print quality.

Check the Paper and Print Settings:

  • Make sure you're using the correct paper type for your print job.
  • Ensure that the paper is loaded correctly and not wrinkled or curled.
  • Verify print quality, paper type, paper size, and color settings.

Print Quality Diagnostic Page: Print a Print Quality Diagnostic Page to identify if there are any issues with print cartridges or print quality:

  • On the printer control panel, swipe left and touch Setup.
  • Touch Tools, then Print Quality Report.
  • Review the diagnostic page for any defects.

Advanced Cleaning and Maintenance:

  • Open the HP Smart app and navigate to Alignment & Maintenance to clean the printhead contacts or clean ink smears.

Align the Printheads: If alignment issues persist, you can perform printhead alignment from the printer control panel:

  • Swipe left on the control panel, touch Setup, and then Tools.
  • Select Align Cartridges or Align Printer.

Check for Firmware Updates: Ensure that your printer firmware is up to date, which can be checked using the HP Smart app
