Hi @Geminimike2,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your printer!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Try these steps:

Check Printer Connectivity:

  • Ensure that your printer is properly connected to your Wi-Fi network or computer. Verify the connection through the control panel or the HP Smart app.

Restart Printer and Devices:

  • Turn off the printer, unplug it for a minute, and then plug it back in and turn it on. Also, restart your computer or mobile device.

Check Print Queue:

  • Clear any stuck print jobs in the print queue on your computer. This can be done through the printer settings.

Check for Printer Errors:

  • Inspect the HP Smart app for any error messages related to ink levels, paper jams, or connectivity issues. Address any errors displayed.

Update Printer Driver and HP Smart App:

  • Ensure that you are using the latest version of the printer driver for your device. Visit the HP website to download the latest updates. Also, update the HP Smart app to the newest version from your app store.

Check Ink Levels:

  • Verify that your ink bottles have adequate ink and are properly installed. Low or improperly seated ink can lead to printing issues.

Print a Test Page:

  • Use the printer’s control panel to print a test page, which can help you determine if the printer itself is working correctly.

Printer Settings:

  • Examine your printer settings and ensure the print quality is set appropriately. Sometimes changing print settings to draft mode can resolve issues.

I hope this helps.
