HP Smart can't find my printer

HP Recommended
DeskJet GT5820 All-in-one Printer series
macOS 10.15 Catalina

I am unable to connect my printer to Wi-Fi and the USB cable is unavailable.

All lights on the panel are blinking, and there's no reaction except pressing the power button.

I tried:

1. HP Smart app - add a printer - no printers available

2. set up a new printer and follow the instructions (select wireless - no touchscreen - using USB) - USB not connected to the printer

3. restart wireless setup mode by pressing the wireless and cancel button for 3 seconds, but nothing happened

4. reset the printer (plug the product directly into an electrical outlet)

What should I do now? Is there any solution?

Hi @werjkl,

I'd like to help!

Let's try a power reset on the printer

Reset the product

With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.

Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.

Wait at least 60 seconds.

Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.

Reconnect the power cord to the printer.

Turn the printer on. HP recommends plugging the printer directly into a wall outlet.

try updating the printer's firmware -HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware

Try the steps in the document -Blinking Lights and 'E' Errors

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
