Product: HP ENVY 17.3 inch Laptop PC 17-cr1000 IDS Base Model
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

My new HP Envy is hooked up to my ancient HP Color Laserjet 2600n. It works fine BUT everytime I print, I get an error on the ENVY saying HP Print Notification - Errror on printer HP Color Laserjet 2600n. The printer cannot print blahblahblah.  Now if the printer were right next to me, no problem. But it is a vertical house & printer is on floor 4 while I am usually on floor 1.  In the beginning I kept running up there to see what was wrong but other than out of paper, everything was always fine. Not an important issue as I am getting my printouts but it is an annoyance. Any sugestions??? I don't like error messages. Especially inaccurate ones.
