HP has hijacked my printer so that I cannot print any longer unless I pay more money. Help

I have 2 of these printers.  One at home and one at work.  To use them both is a very high fee, so I need the one at work the most, but I cannot connect it to the internet at my work.  Therefore, HP cannot see how much I print.  So I cancelled my ink subscription after I wasted a lot of money for nothing. Now they say my HP is out of warranty and they have hijacked my printer and are not allowing me to print, even with a usb. I don't know what to do unless I buy another printer that is not from HP.

Based on your situation, it sounds like the printer was set up to use HP Instant Ink cartridges, which are tied to a subscription service. When the subscription is cancelled, the printer may stop accepting those specific Instant Ink cartridges because they are meant to be used within that service.

To resolve this, I recommend switching to regular HP genuine ink cartridges. These are not tied to the Instant Ink subscription and should work without any issues, even without an internet connection. Just make sure to use the standard HP cartridges that match your printer model.
