Hi @JiSaf_111,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

The error code C8190014 on the HP OfficeJet Pro X476dw MFP typically indicates a problem related to the printer’s printhead or internal components. Here are some steps to troubleshoot and potentially resolve this issue.

Reset the Printer

  • Power Cycle: Turn off the printer, unplug it from the power source, and wait for about 60 seconds. Plug it back in and turn it on.
  • Factory Reset (if necessary): If power cycling doesn't work, you might consider a factory reset:
    • Press the Home button on the printer.
    • Select Setup, then navigate to Printer Maintenance.
    • Select Restore Factory Defaults. This will reset all settings to factory defaults.

Check for Physical Obstructions

  • Open the printer and check for any paper jams or foreign objects inside the printer that could be obstructing the printhead.

Inspect the Printhead

  • Remove and Reseat the Printhead:
    • Open the front cover and remove the printhead by lifting the latch and pulling it out.
    • Check for any visible damage or obstructions on the printhead and in the carriage.
    • Reseat the printhead back into its slot and ensure it’s securely locked in place.

Clean the Printhead

  • If the printhead appears dirty, clean it using a lint-free cloth and distilled water. Ensure it’s completely dry before reinserting it.

Update Firmware

  • Check if there’s a firmware update available for your printer. You can do this through the printer’s control panel or by visiting the HP website.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
