Microsoft Windows 11

The HP Rewards pop up is displaying every 2 minutes and I am unable to deactivate it.

I have  disabled "Printer Status Notifications" and there is nothing else I see in settings under installable Options.

I do not see  "Message Center" in my HP utility, so I am unable to check that.

My inkjet all-in-one printer is hp Officejet 4630.

Can anyone please help?

Hi @RedQueen318,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand you want to disable HP Rewards pop-up errors, you can try the steps shared below and let us know how it goes.

1. Disabling Bidirectional Support:

  • Open Devices and Printers through the Control Panel.
  • Right-click on your HP printer and select "Printer properties".
  • Go to the "Ports" tab.
  • Uncheck the option that says "Enable bidirectional support".
  • Click "OK".

2. Uninstalling HP Software:

  • Navigate to Applications/Hewlett Packard and click on "HP Uninstaller".
  • Click "Continue".
  • Highlight the device on the left pane.
  • Press and hold Control+Alt+Command while clicking "Uninstall".
  • Confirm the uninstallation of all HP software.
  • Reboot your computer after the uninstallation is complete.

3. Disabling HP Smart from Startup:

  • Open Task Manager (Ctrl+Shift+Esc).
  • Go to the "Startup" tab (Windows 10) or "Startup apps" (Windows 11).
  • Find "HP SMART" and disable it.
  • Restart your device.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
