printing problem with the HP150nw: after 2 years of use (very few printed pages, transfer drum, rollers etc. all in perfect condition) the print comes out with a "ghost" effect, lines/shadows repeated at the bottom of the page at a distance of 19cm from the written at the top of the sheet.
Already cleaned internally.

Hi @Matte22,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It sounds like you may be experiencing a common printing issue known as "ghosting." Ghosting occurs when parts of a previous print job are repeated or "ghosted" onto subsequent printouts. This can be caused by several factors, including.
- Worn or damaged drum or imaging unit: Even if the transfer drum and rollers appear to be in good condition, there could be damage or wear that is causing the ghosting effect. Over time, these components can degrade, leading to print quality issues.
- Fuser unit issues: The fuser unit is responsible for bonding the toner to the paper. If there are problems with the fuser, such as uneven heating or worn components, it can cause ghosting.
- Toner cartridge: If the toner cartridge is near the end of its life or is defective, it can result in poor print quality, including ghosting.
- Printer settings: Sometimes, printer settings can inadvertently cause ghosting. Check the printer driver settings to ensure they are optimized for your specific printing needs.
- Environmental factors: Changes in temperature or humidity can also affect print quality. Ensure the printer is in a stable environment with optimal conditions for printing.
Since you've already cleaned the printer internally, I would recommend checking the drum/imaging unit and the fuser unit for any signs of damage or wear. If possible, try replacing the toner cartridge to see if that resolves the issue. Additionally, double-check the printer settings to ensure they are correctly configured.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
