HP2600 Series printer not connecting to 5 GHz network
02-26-2021 11:32 AM - edited 02-26-2021 11:32 AM

Hi, I have just got a fiber network at home but my home printer HP2600 series will not connect to it. It says the printer is 2.4 GHz. Please help to resolve.

@Tiaz, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Yes, this printer only supports connections using 2.4GHz.
- Make sure the printer and the PC are connected to the same wireless network.
- The PC should be on the 2.4GHz network.
- If you have a Dual-band router and both 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks share the same name/SSID, the printer will not be able to connect to the network. In this case, contact your Internet service provider to assign different names to both networks.
For more info and to know how to connect the printer to a wireless network, refer to page 62 of the User Guide.
I hope that answers your concern adequately. Let me know!
