Yesterday- went to copy a document- it woudnt copy and showed a message to Close Tray....opened and closed it sever times with no success....but it still prints fine

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help,

I understand you are getting an error, a paper tray is open on your printer. To provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:

  • Did you make any changes to your printer?

Check if the printer carriage is moving freely inside the printer. Try updating the printer firmware and check if it helps. Link to update the printer firmware.
