Hello,

I have a HP OfficeJet Pro 8710 that is in a loop of error requesting restart --> restart --> after 10s printer throws error requesting restart. Between the restart and the error that requests the restart, the printer flashes a blue screen with a power symbol on it and the error code 011A17FF. After this error code flash, the printer says "Printer ErrorL There is a problem with the printer. Turn the printer off, then on."

From the boot up HP logo, there is no time to get into the reset settings to do a factory reset in the menu through the BLx4 button presses.

Is there any way to physically force the computer to factory reset without the digital screen?

Thanks in advance for any advice,

Adrian

@AdrianBarron, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

I'm afraid this is a hardware failure. We cannot reset the printer from the computer.

Check for any jams inside the printer and make sure the print carriage is moving freely - Paper Jam Error

If the issue persists, please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer.

If the printer is out of warranty, I suggest you upgrade the printer. You may visit Hp Store to check the available printers.

Keep me posted for any other assistance.
