@Kwtampa, Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It sounds frustrating to have your printer stuck on an error screen. Here are a few steps you can try to resolve this issue:
Reinsert the Ink Cartridges:
- Turn on the printer.
- Open the cartridge access door.
- Wait for the cartridge carriage to stop moving.
- Remove the ink cartridges and reinsert them into the proper slots until they snap into place.
- Close the cartridge access door.
Reset the Printer:
- Press the power button to turn off the printer. If it does not turn off, disconnect the power cord from the printer.
- Unplug the power cord from the power source.
- Wait for 60 seconds.
- Connect the power cord directly to a wall outlet and reconnect it to the printer.
- Turn on the printer to complete the reset.
Check for Firmware Updates:
- Sometimes, updating the printer's firmware can resolve such issues. Visit the HP support website and download the latest firmware for your printer model.
Enable Web Services:
- Ensure the printer is connected to the internet via Wi-Fi or Ethernet.
- If an option to enable Web Services is accessible on your printer, activate it.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
