Product: HP ENVY 5540
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Horizontal stripes appear on any print, at about 1.5 cm distance.

On test print, color yellow appears 1 time out of 5 and the black 3 stripes are striped with many whitish bands.

Cartridges are new and aligned. I cleaned them.

 

I also went through the whole troubleshooting here :

Except for this part :

 

 I'm afraid that confirms a hardware malfunction and I suggest you talk to HP support and discuss your options, follow the below steps to get started:

 

Since my printer is not on guarantee anymore.

 

I don't know what to do.
