The Officejet Pro 9010 series printers have separate ink supplies and a fixed printhead.  If any of the inks are depleted the printhead will become clogged and may be damaged.  As a result, this printer will not allow any printing if any of the cartridges are empty.  You will need to replace any empty cartridges.
