Hi, I hope you can help. I am annoyed by my 7740 printer causing a popup dialog on my Mac (10.12.6) when I power up the printer.
The printer apparently opens the Android File Transfer program, which then generates the dialog box that says "No Android Device Found".
I can't see anyihing in the Android File Transfer program that will stop the printer from opening it, and have found nothing as far as making the printer not open it either.
Is there a way to stop the printer from starting the Android File Transfer application when I power up the printer?
All inputs and help gratefully accepted.
Thank you!

Disregard. I stumbled over the answer. In System Preferences I had the Android application in the startup section. Apparently it was running in the background and powering up the printer brought it active. When I deleted the Anroid application from the startup preferences, it fixed the problem and the Android application no longer comes active when the printer is turned on. Silly
