I recently changed router and reinstalled the HP 2540 printer software. The printer now only prints when I select the printer Wi-fi network -- and this disconnects the computer from the Internet. How can I configure the Wi-fi networks so that the Internet connection is retained? Thanks in anticipation.

Back in April I had an issue with connecting to the printer Wi-fi network. This was kindly resolved by the solution below, but now I want to use it again and it doesn't work -- the http:// link gives page not found. Any ideas? Is there an updated link I can use.

Thanks

Stephen.

Hi community users!

An alternative would be to install your printer through the HP Smart app, follow the instructions in the following article:

Set up your printer using HP Smart (Recommended install)
