Hi @Henry4182, Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

(Uh-oh! Looks like your HP DeskJet 2755e is having a little meltdown with that blinking "E" and "0" 😬. Don’t worry, we’ve got your back! Let’s get this printer back to work before it starts charging you rent for all the attention it’s demanding. Let’s dive into some quick fixes! 🖨)

Check for Paper Jams:

  • Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
  • Open the printer and check for any paper jams in the input tray, output tray, or inside the printer.
  • If you find any stuck paper, gently remove it.
  • Make sure no paper is stuck in the rollers or other parts inside the printer.

Check Printer Cartridges:

  • Make sure that the ink cartridges are properly installed and securely seated.
  • If you recently changed cartridges, try re-inserting them to ensure they are seated correctly.
  • Verify that the cartridges are not empty and are free from any protective plastic covering.

Check Ink Levels:

  • Ensure that your ink levels are not too low. You can check this on your printer's display panel or through the HP Smart app on your computer or smartphone.
  • If the ink levels are low or empty, replace the cartridges.

Reset the Printer:

  • Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
  • Wait for about 30 seconds and plug it back in.
  • Turn the printer back on and check if the error persists.

Clear Print Queue:

  • If there are any print jobs stuck in the queue, it could be causing the issue.
  • Open the print queue on your computer (by navigating to “Devices and Printers” > right-click your printer > select “See what's printing”).
  • Cancel any stuck or pending print jobs and try printing again.

Update Printer Firmware:

  • Sometimes, issues like this are caused by outdated firmware.
  • Open the HP Smart app or visit the HP support website to check if there is any new firmware available for your printer.
  • If there is, update the printer's firmware.

Perform a Factory Reset:

  • If none of the above steps work, consider performing a factory reset on the printer. This will erase all settings and return the printer to its original state.
  • To reset, turn off the printer, press and hold the "Cancel" and "Wireless" buttons simultaneously for about 10 seconds until the printer begins the reset process.
