@Vietnamvet68, Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

If your HP DeskJet 3270 All-in-One Printer has stopped printing full pages, follow these steps to resolve the issue.

Check Paper and Print Settings:

  • Ensure that the paper size setting in the print dialog matches the actual paper size loaded in the printer.
  • Open the print dialog by clicking File > Print.
  • Select your HP DeskJet 3270 as the printer and check the settings for paper size, orientation, and scale.
  • Verify that "Fit to Page" or similar settings are correctly configured.

Inspect the paper loaded in the tray.

  • Make sure the paper is correctly loaded in the input tray and the tray is not overfilled.
  • Adjust the paper-width guides in the input tray to fit snugly against the paper.

Clear Any Paper Jams:

  • Open the printer's access doors and check for any paper jams or obstructions that might be preventing full-page printing.
  • Follow instructions specific to your printer model to clear any jams.

Check Ink Levels and Cartridges:

  • Low ink levels can cause incomplete printing. Verify the ink levels in your cartridges and replace them if they are low.
  • Remove and reseat the cartridges to ensure they are properly installed.
  • If the problem persists, try cleaning the cartridge contacts.

Specific Steps for HP DeskJet 3270 Series:

Align the cartridges:

  • Load letter or A4-sized plain white paper into the input tray.
  • Depending on your operating system, open the printer software and initiate the cartridge alignment from the "Printer Toolbox".

Print Diagnostics Page:

  • Load letter or A4 unused plain white paper in the input tray.
  • From the printer software, print a diagnostics page to check for any ink issues.

Clean Ink Cartridges:

  • If the diagnostics page shows streaks or missing portions, initiate an automatic cleaning of the ink cartridges through the printer software or printer display.

Perform a printer reset:

  • Turn off the printer and unplug the power cord.
  • Wait for at least 15 seconds before plugging it back in and turning on the printer.
  • Try printing again to check if the issue is resolved.

I hope this helps.

Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.

Take care and have a good day.
