Hp 4510 Printer arm opening after printing has finished

HP Recommended
Hp4510
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Problem coincided with printer running out of ink   (ink levels still showed green ,checked ,and OK about 25%) . Replaced both black and color cartridges. Printer now prints fine but the arm to support the paper doesn't extend itself until after the copy is printed and the paper has flown across the room. Tried to unplug wait and replug. Didn't change anything.

Please Advise

Thank you for your input. I tried the HP Print and Scan Doctor. The app checked for updates.

Right now the printer arm seems to be functioning correctly.

If anything changes I will try your link.
