Hi @Cyrisse,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your printer!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

If your HP OfficeJet 8015e is only printing status reports and not processing other print tasks, it might be due to a configuration issue or a communication problem between your Mac and the printer. Here’s how you can try to resolve it:

Check Printer Settings

  1. Cancel All Print Jobs: Go to "System Preferences" > "Printers & Scanners". Select your printer, then click "Open Print Queue". Cancel all the current print jobs.
  2. Set the Correct Default Printer: Ensure your HP OfficeJet 8015e is selected as the default printer in your Mac's printing settings.

Check Network Connection

  1. Wireless Connection: Ensure your printer is properly connected to your Wi-Fi network. You might need to reconnect it using the HP Smart app or the printer's control panel.
  2. Wired Connection: If you're using a USB connection, try unplugging and re-plugging the USB cable to ensure a secure connection.

Reset the Printing System

  1. Go to "System Preferences" > "Printers & Scanners".
  2. Control-click anywhere in the list of devices and choose "Reset printing system".
  3. Re-add your HP OfficeJet 8015e from the list of available printers.

Update or Reinstall Printer Drivers

  1. Update Drivers: Make sure that you have the latest printer drivers installed. You can download them from the HP Customer Support website.
  2. Reinstall Drivers: If updating doesn't help, try uninstalling and reinstalling the printer drivers.

Check for Software Updates

  1. Make sure your Mac OS is up to date by going to "System Preferences" > "Software Update".

I hope this helps.
