I have a HP 8710 printer that I do not have the original cartridges that come with the printer to startup. Is there a way around this issue? Been looking at other post about oobe reset but printer is not giving me options to other buttons to use. This is the display message.

I understand that you want to bypass the setup cartridges, I am glad to assist you.
I am sending you a private message with the steps to skip setup cartridges and complete the printer's initial setup. Please check the mailbox icon at the top-right corner of this screen.

This might require one on one interaction to fix the issue.
I request you to talk to HP support.
They might have multiple options to help you with this.
- Click on this link - https://support.hp.com/us-en/contact-hp?openCLC=true
- Select the country.
- Enter the serial of your device.
- Select the country from the drop-down.
- Click on "Show Options".
- Fill the web-form. A case number and phone number will now populate for you.

Mid-job, my 8710 (using a Mac) stopped and the screen became white. Frozen. Nothing worked. I unplugged the printer and waited for 30 seconds. The screen only comes on dark-dim light. No sign of life. Does this mean it has died?
