Hi. I have a Hp 8725 printer. I was getting and error for the printhead so I replaced the print.  Unfortunately, i dont have the original setup cartridges but have authenic hp cartridges not refills but getting thw following message "use the cartridges that came with the printer"?  I have also tried replacing all the cartridges with brand new one but that didn't work either. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Correction: i replaced the printerhead not the printer.

The only option left is to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer. 

 

The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device. 

I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.
