Hp deskjet 2562

HP Recommended
V1NO5A

I own a HP deskjet 2652 and recently bought new ink (HP 65).  When printing the alignment page, the page shows 4 lines of light blue markings and a red triangle with an exclamation point in it.  The printer will not accept the alignment page.  Is this just faulty ink?  I turned on/off several times, reloaded the ink and printed the alignment sheet several times to no avail.  Also the words IMPORTANT are printing next to the red triangle.

Hi @lmercer79,

I'd like to help!

To better assist you -

Does the copy print out the same way?

While you respond to that, let's print a Print Quality Diagnostic page

Use HP Printer Assistant to print a Print Quality Diagnostic page in Windows.

  1. Load plain paper into the input tray.

  2. Search Windows for your printer model name, and then click the printer name in the list of results.

    HP Printer Assistant opens.

  3. Click Print & Scan, and then click Maintain Your Printer.

    The printer toolbox opens.

  4. On the Device Services tab, click Print Quality Diagnostics Page.

A Print Quality Diagnostic page prints.
