Hi @Ftmagellan

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your HP Envy 6055e is displaying a "printer is busy" message, here are some steps to try and resolve it:

Check for Print Jobs: Open the printer queue on your computer. Cancel any stuck print jobs that may be causing the printer to appear busy.

  • On Windows: Go to Settings > Devices > Printers & Scanners, select your printer, and click Open queue.
  • On macOS: Open System Preferences > Printers & Scanners, select your printer, and click Open Print Queue.

Restart the Printer: Turn off the printer, unplug it from the power source, wait for about a minute, and then plug it back in and turn it on.

Clear the Print Spooler (Windows):

  • Open the Run dialog by pressing Win + R.
  • Type services.msc and press Enter.
  • Find the Print Spooler service, right-click on it, and select Stop.
  • Go to C:\Windows\System32\spool\PRINTERS and delete any files inside.
  • Return to the Print Spooler service and right-click to select Start.

Update Printer Drivers: Ensure your printer drivers are up to date. Visit the HP website to download the latest drivers.

Check for Network Issues: If you’re using the printer over Wi-Fi, ensure that the printer is connected to the correct network. A poor connection can sometimes cause this issue.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
